PSAT (Personal Security Awareness Training)

Purpose:
The purpose of the SAFSEC International Security Specialist Program Training Course is to develop a cadre of personnel trained and qualified in basic security related functional skills, for employment and assignment to FSG security projects worldwide.   

Objective of the ISSP Training Course:
The primary objective of this training program is to develop personnel who are trained and qualified to design, implement and execute a comprehensive security program. This includes but is not limited to basic static security of fixed locations, mobile security for transportation of goods, equipment, material and personnel. The personnel who successfully complete this training program will be able to effectively provide operational leadership, supervision and management to FSG SAFSEC, FSG clients and outside FSG companies who desire to train their respective security departments.

Course Scope:
The FSG SAFSEC ISSP Training Course is broken down into three separate modules.
The first module (Basic Static Security), is conducted at the ISDC facility in Beijing China for 14 days.  35% is classroom instruction – 65% practical exercises/scenarios.

The second module (Mobile Security), is conducted at the ISDC facility in Beijing China for 11 days.  
30% is classroom instruction – 70% practical exercises/scenarios.

The third and final phase (Security Operations Supervisory course), is conducted at the ISDC facility in Beijing China for 12 days. 
70% is classroom instruction with students conducting presentations/exams – 30% practical exercises.  Final exercise and final examination.

Two days at the end of the course are used for out - processing and graduation.
