On 23rd September 2020, FSG Laos and Lao Chinese Chamber of Commerce jointly held a safety training themed on "Overseas Chinese Enterprise Employee Safety Management". FSG Laos team overcame the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic and provided a “feast” of knowledge of safety and security to more than 20 Chinese enterprises based in Laos, including NORINCO International Corporation, China Construction, China Railway Construction, Power Construction Corporation of China and China International Water & Electric Corporation.
Starting with analysing recent violent cases in Laos, FSG Security Officer introduced in detail the risk categories faced by Chinese enterprises under the current international situation, and systematically explained the importance of raising personal active safety awareness and forming safety behaviour habits. Professional advice on how to better respond to risks and improve overseas safety management was also given to the Chinese enterprises and their employees. The training included not only bounty knowledge sharing, but also practical exercises such as medical first aid, which received positive feedback from participants.
Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic at the beginning of the year, FSG Laos team has been sticking to its position and perfected its series of safety training courses for international investors in Laos, while strictly conforming to the local government to prevent and control the epidemic. This training demonstrated the expertise of FSG in safety consulting and training. It also shows the determination and competence of FSG to take root in Laos, provide safety protection for international investors including Chinese enterprises, and to serve the construction of the "Belt and Road" Initiative.
